MSD Life Science Foundation has conducted activities to promote and support life science research related to disease prevention and treatment, to develop future scientific leaders in global community, and to contribute to the promotion of science and the prosperity of humankind.

It is very important to encourage female researchers who can bring diversified viewpoints and ideas to research activities. Therefore a research grant was established to develop and support female researchers who can open new pathways to scientific discovery. In particular, MSD will promote original and exploratory research and research that integrates different areas.
