“Lectureship Award MBLA 10th Anniversary Special Lectures” were held as a committee organized event at the 95th spring annual meeting of the Chemical Society of Japan on March 29, 2015.
MBLA is an award established with the objective of encouraging originality in young Japanese researchers in synthetic organic chemistry and developing them into excellent researchers. MBLA awardees not only have a succession of outstanding research achievements to their credit, but also have an excellent global perspective as a result of their lecture tour of leading research institutions in Europe and the United States.
We believe the special lectures held to commemorate the 10th anniversary of MBLA provided an opportunity to gain a knowledge of the state of the art in chemical research as well as a renewed understanding of the importance of having a global perspective and the direction of researcher development and made some contribution towards advancement of synthetic organic chemistry in Japan and development of human resources in the field. A video of the special lectures, including those given by 10 past MBLA awardees, is available for viewing on this website.
